Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
Enjoy a smooth journey as our representatives greet you at Guwahati airport. On the way, take in the beautiful views of Umiam Lake, the largest man-made lake in the Northeast. Once you reach the hotel, check in and relax for the day. You can explore nearby places or visit local markets (at your own cost). Spend the night at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 2: Shillong To Cherrapunji
Start your day with a hearty breakfast in the hill stations. Get ready for a scenic drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest waterfall, and enjoy its stunning surroundings. Be amazed by the beauty of Seven Sisters Falls, the fourth highest waterfall in India, known for its natural beauty and tea production. Explore the Mawsmai Caves, a beautiful limestone cave with stalactites and stalagmites. Visit the newly discovered Arwah Caves with limestone formations and marine fossils. After an adventurous day, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Day 3: Cherrapunji to Nongriat Trek
After a healthy breakfast, get ready for an exciting trek in the hills of Meghalaya. Visit the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge, made of two intertwined tree roots, a popular tourist spot. After the trek, explore the local church, markets, and shops in Cherrapunji. Enjoy a scenic drive back to Shillong and stay overnight at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 4: Shillong to Kaziranga
Wake up to a beautiful morning in the hills and enjoy a tasty breakfast. As you head towards Kaziranga, take in the lovely views and spot some wildlife along the way. Stop by the Maha Mrityunjaya Temple, home to the world’s largest Shivalinga, standing 126 feet tall. After reaching Kaziranga, relax for a while and enjoy lunch and dinner at the hotel. Spend the night at the hotel in Kaziranga.
Day 5: Kaziranga Sightseeing Tour
After a tasty breakfast, get ready for an exciting adventure. Go on a thrilling jeep safari at Kaziranga National Park, known for its one-horned rhinoceros. Visit Orchid Park, the biggest orchid park in India, with over 800 types of plants. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Bihu dance and learn about Assam’s rich culture. End your day with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.
Day 6: Transfer to Guwahati and Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and head towards Guwahati. Once you reach, relax and explore the nearby areas. Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s important Shakti Peethas. Enjoy an exciting ride on India’s longest ropeway, stretching 1.82 km over the Brahmaputra River, and take in the beautiful views of Umananda Temple, Peacock Island, and the surrounding hills. Later, get dropped off at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station with lots of happy memories.
