Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Leh | Leh Sightseeing Tour
Upon arriving at Leh Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, get ready to explore the city. Your tour will start with the beautiful Leh Palace, known for its royal beauty. Next, visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa, known for its calm atmosphere. Finally, enjoy a walk through the lively Leh Market, where you can shop and try local foods. Afterward, you’ll be transferred back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Day Tour to Sham Valley | The Mysterious Paths of Ladakh
Get ready for an exciting day at Sham Valley. Your journey begins with a visit to Sangam Point, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Next, you’ll visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and then head to the famous Magnetic Hill. Finish your day by exploring SECMOL, the school featured in the movie “3 Idiots.” If you wish, you can also try whitewater rafting (at your own cost). Afterward, you’ll be transferred back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass
It’s time to head to Nubra Valley. After checking out from the hotel, you’ll travel to the cold deserts of Nubra Valley. On the way, stop at Khardung La Pass, and take a break at Rinchen Cafe to enjoy a bowl of Maggi. Next, visit the Diskit Monastery and the Maitreya Buddha statue before continuing to Hunder Sand Dunes. Once there, enjoy activities like an ATV or camel ride (at your own cost). Finally, check-in at your camp for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Pangong Tso | Camping at the Pangong Tso
Leave the Leh valleys behind and head towards Pangong Lake. On your journey, enjoy the views of villages along the Shyok River. Once you arrive, settle into your camp and take a peaceful walk by the lake. Watch as the lake changes colors, with the stunning Himalayan peaks in the background. Later, relax and enjoy your overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Leh | Driving Through the Majestic Chang La Pass
After leaving the campsite, enjoy a scenic drive back to Leh. Along the way, stop at Chang La Pass to take in the stunning views. Visit the peaceful Chang La Baba Temple, the famous Durk Padma Karpo School, and Thiksey Monastery. Admire the beautiful villages and capture pictures of the towering Himalayan peaks. Once in Leh, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure Day
As your amazing time in Leh and Ladakh wraps up, check out from the hotel and head to the airport for your flight home. Safe travels and farewell!
