Itinerary
Day 1: NJP Railway station /Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok
Upon arriving at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, enjoy a smooth transfer to Gangtok. Along the way, take in the beautiful views of the Teesta River.
Once you reach Gangtok, check into your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. In the evening, you can explore MG Marg, where you can shop for souvenirs and enjoy delicious Sikkimese food.

Day 2: Gangtok to Lachen | Drive towards North Sikkim
After a tasty breakfast, begin your journey to the quaint town of Lachen. On the way, you’ll pass through the scenic Chungthang town, near Kanchenjunga, where the Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers meet.
As you continue towards Lachen, located at 9,500 feet, enjoy stunning views of snow-capped peaks and lush alpine meadows. The route will take you through Kanchenjunga National Park, passing charming villages along the way.
Upon reaching Lachen, check into your hotel and enjoy a lovely dinner.

Day 3: Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung
Begin your day with a peaceful walk around the snow-capped mountains and enjoy a hearty breakfast (either at your stay or in Thangu Village, depending on when you leave).
Your first stop is the sparkling Gurudongmar Lake, the highest accessible lake in the world, named after Guru Padmasambhava, who is believed to have passed through this region on his visit to Tibet. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains, it is a major source of the Teesta River. Spend some time soaking in the beauty of the lake before heading back to Lachen for lunch.
Next, continue your journey to Lachung, one of the most picturesque towns in Sikkim. On the way, you’ll pass the Bhim Nala Waterfalls, one of the highest waterfalls in Sikkim. If time allows, make a quick stop at the holy rock in Chungthang, which bears the footprint of Guru Padmasambhava.
Arrive in Lachung and enjoy your dinner.

Day 4: Lachung - Yumthang Valley - Gangtok
After checking out, drive towards Gangtok. On the way, stop at the beautiful Yumthang Valley, also known as the “Valley of Flowers.” Located at 11,800 feet, this valley is filled with colorful flowers like rhododendrons and primulas, with snowy Himalayan mountains in the background.
You will also visit the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, which has more than 24 types of these bright flowers. Take some time to relax in the Yumthang hot springs, which are known for their warm, healing waters full of minerals.
Later, continue your journey to Gangtok. Once you reach, check in to your hotel and rest.
Day 5: Gangtok – NJP Railway station /Bagdogra Airport
After a good breakfast, check out from the hotel and board your vehicle to reach NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Your tour ends once you are dropped off for your onward journey. It’s time to head home with lots of wonderful memories.
